MyList.bio is a Postfity tool that makes linking on social media as easy as pie. Read the guide below and you’ll have a professional minisite at your fingertips in no time!

Setting up the account

First, you have to go to your bio panel at https://panel.postfity.com/bio. The following message will be displayed on the screen under “Your bio accounts”, and you will notice the “Add” button on the right. Click on it to set up a new account.

After clicking on the “Add” button, the “Add new account” window will pop up.

In this window, you will find three boxes:

1. Name — fill in this box with a name that will be displayed only on your Postfity panel.
2. Slug — this is the link that everyone will see on your page and it should entice the users to click on it. Choose an appropriate name that will follow the “mylist.bio/” address.
3. URL — this is an optional box where you can type the address of the domain for which you are creating the MyList.bio.

Then, you also need to choose an image that will complete your account. You can do it by clicking on the “Choose image” button.

Finally, click on the blue “Add” button to finalize the process.

Now, the new account icon should appear on your panel.

Adding links to your MyList.bio account

To add links to any of your accounts, simply click on the icon representing it under “Your bio accounts”.

This will take you to the page “Manage links for [account name]”. If you haven’t added any links yet, you will see the message below:

To add links to your MyList.bio, simply click on the “Add” button on the right.

After clicking on the “Add” button, the “Add link” window will pop up.

In this window, you will find three boxes:

1. Title — this attribute will not be displayed on the page, but it’s a valuable information to you as the account manager.
2. Caption — it appears on the tile in your MyList.bio on a transparent background overlay. Whatever you choose to type into that box, make sure it is short, attractive, and to the point.
3. URL — paste or type the URL of the article that you want to link.

Then, you also need to choose an image that will complete your link. You can do it by clicking on the “Choose image” button.

Finally, click on the blue “Add” button to finalize the process.

Now, the new link should appear on your “Manage links for [account name]” panel in the form of a tile.

You can add more links with the + icon (A) to show on either side of the existing tile, or move the tiles and arrange them in any order (B).

Similarly, when you click on the little

icon next to “Manage links for [account name]”, you will see your ready MyList.bio page.

When you add more links to your MyList.bio, it will display clickable tiles side by side.

Adding and managing social links

Go to your main MyList.bio panel where your account is located and click on

icon to see a pop-down menu. Then, click on the “Manage social links” option.

Your “Manage social links for [account name]” page will appear on the screen. There, you can click on the “Add” button to add your social links.

After clicking on the “Add” button, the “Add social link” window will pop up.

In this window, you will find two boxes:

1. Title — the name of the social link that will appear in your MyList.bio.
2. URL — the URL of the social account that you want the users to acces by clicking on the icon in your MyList.bio.

Then, you also need to choose an image that will complete your social link. You can do it by clicking on the “Choose image” button.

Now, the new social link should appear on your panel in the form of a tile.

You can add more links with the + icon (A) to show on either side of the existing tile, or move the tiles and arrange them in any order (B).

Similarly, when you click on the little

icon next to “Manage links for [account name]”, you will see your ready MyList.bio page.

When you add more social links to your MyList.bio, it will display clickable icons side by side at the top of the page.

How to install MyList.bio on your social media

This step is very easy and will allow your followers to discover your sophisticated MyList.bio page.

Simply copy the address displayed in your browser’s address bar and post it in your bio or paste it anywhere you see fit.

Other functionalities

You already know that the “Manage social links” option will let you add and edit social accounts on your MyList.bio. Similarly, the “Manage links” option takes you to the first panel discussed in this entry, where you can manage the links to your articles.

There are other self-explanatory options below: “Open account page”, “Open link”, “Edit”, and “Delete”.

Moreover, you can click on the “Statistics” option in both the pop-down menu in the main panel or in the “Manage links” panel.

Then, you will see statistics measuring clicks for the account or for the selected link. See a sample “Statistics” page below.

The statistics will provide the data necessary to gauge the traffic generated by your audience.
