Facebook users will be now able to use Instagram Chat via Messenger. This brings the two massive social media platforms owned by Facebook even closer together.When someone asked me for my Instagram 4 years ago and said 'I will message you on Instagram' I was bemused. Messaging on Instaram? Why?!But apparently, it's a thing.So Facebook started doing what most of its users have been waiting for: integrating its messaging apps across the platforms (Whatsapp, Instagram and Messenger).And while the users are surely happy about being able to send messages, videos and photos cross-platform - the Federal Trade Commission is looking at whether the behemoth has not broken even more anti-trust laws by merging its large communication apps...Anyway! Since law is not what we're concerned about - let's look at the joint functionality of the MessenGram/ InstaGer ;) :
- the ability to message Facebook users from IG and Instagram users from Messanger;
- group video watch sessions
- selfie stickers
- disappearing messages
