Postfity enables you to create a schedule for publishing new or updated Facebook covers. You can plan your FB covers in Postfity in the same way you can plan posts. Depending on your chosen plan, you can schedule up to 200 Facebook covers.
How to schedule Facebook covers? A step by step guide
Step 1
Go to the “Covers” tab and select the Facebook account that you want to post the cover to.
Step 2
Go to the “Manage covers” section and select “Upload cover photo” or “Create image”. The first one allows you to upload a ready cover. The second one lets you create one in Postfity’s image editor.
After you have uploaded your cover photo, you will see new buttons with different options. Those allow you to replace the photo, edit it, or discard it, by clicking the right button.
Postfity’s image editor gives you many great editing options, such as resizing, filters, stickers, and more.
Step 3
Determine the position of the cover photo and other parameters. You can select the right date, time, and time zone. Remember to include a description.
What is more, you can decide whether the update shows in the feed or not, and also whether it will be visible in the photo album on Facebook.
Step 4
Click on the “Schedule” button to finalize the cover scheduling.
Step 5
Check in the “Scheduled covers” section below if everything is set right.
Take note of the options in the upper-right corner of the scheduled cover. You can:
- edit the cover,
- reuse the cover,
- set the cover for now,
- delete the cover.
What is more, you can see the cover archives. Simply click on the right option and you’ll be able to look through all previously scheduled covers.
How to repost the same cover at intervals?
If you want your cover to be regularly reposted at a selected interval, then tick the box next to “Interval” in the menu.
Then, you’ll be able to choose the frequency: daily, weekly, or other (customizable).
Why should you use this functionality? If you organize any recurring events or have special offers available periodically, you can remind your followers about them with a cover reposted at regular intervals.
You only schedule once, set the interval, and the cover photo will change and re-upload according to the set interval time.
